Scout Camper – Truck charging Upgrade Harness

Have a SCOUT camper with an Unbound Power Tower (UPT) and looking to increase your truck alternator charging capacity? This is the solution. CFD is happy to offer a high amp charging kit to run large diameter battery cable from your truck alternator to the bed, and then from an external plug on the camper to the UPT installed in your camper.

Harness is constructed from high quality 4 gauge weld cable and includes an inline fuse for protection and weathertight Anderson plugs.

Please select if you have a version-1 UPT or version-2 UPT. Version one has round breakers with separate switches on the front, Version 2 has integrated rocker breaker/switches.

Please Note: after installing the kit, you will need to use the Victron Connect app to change the charge settings in the Orion XS from 18A to 50A. DO NOT change the settings if you have not installed this kit.

Kit contents:

• Truck side harness – run from your alternator to an Anderson plug in the bed of your truck.
• Camper side harness – plugs in directly to the back of your UPT and will be run to the outside of your camper
• Attachment hardware for installation

Tools needed for installation:

• 1” hole saw
• 5/16 drill bit
• Sikaflex or other sealant
• Philips head driver
